Jessica Slack, a British contemporary abstract artist, brings Blooming Beautiful, a new exhibition and immersive art experience, to Chelsea this November.

Flowers have a way of reminding us that growth rarely happens all at once. There is beauty in every stage of becoming: from the first signs of new life to the wild, imperfect moments in between. It is this idea that lies at the heart of Blooming Beautiful, coming to Chelsea this November.

Inspired by Flowers

Inspired by the natural world and the symbolism of flowers, Jessica’s latest collection explores femininity, inner strength and the ever-evolving journey of self-discovery. Through expressive colour, organic forms and abstract floral influences, her work celebrates the beauty of becoming ourselves, not in spite of life’s messier moments, but because of them.

I’ve always loved the way flowers represent growth, resilience and transformation,” says Jessica. “They remind us that everything has its own season, and that we’re constantly evolving. With Blooming Beautiful, I wanted to take those ideas beyond the canvas and create a joyful, immersive event and an opportunity for people to connect with art, creativity and one another.

What to Expect

Taking place at Wellness & Wilde on Walton Street, Chelsea, the afternoon promises more than a traditional gallery visit. Guests will be invited to explore Jessica’s floral-inspired abstract collection, experience live painting and contribute to a collaborative artwork that will gradually bloom throughout the event.

For those looking for a personal memento, five-minute live painting commissions will also be available to purchase on the day, offering a spontaneous and intimate glimpse into Jessica’s creative process. Guests will additionally have the opportunity to win an original canvas.

Alongside the art, there will be canapés, matcha and cake, creating a relaxed setting in which to pause, get creative and connect with others. The intention is to make contemporary art feel approachable and participatory, something to experience together, rather than simply observe.
